Inspections
All the big premises located within the limits of City District Govt. Lahore have been inspected / sampled with respect to violation of food byelaws. They include Ghee Mills, Flour Mills, Hotels and Restaurants, Grinding Units, Soda Water Factories, Dairy Farms, Bakeries, sweet shops, etc.

Special Campaign
Consequent upon a number of complaints about adulteration in specific foods such as beverages, condiments etc. a special campaign against adulteration and plastic chemical drums was launched by the order of Zila Nazim Lahore, which is still under way? Prosecutions
In all, more than 483 Challans pertaining to food sampling and inspections were submitted for prosecution in all the (06) six courts of City District Govt. Lahore, for the month of March, 2006. Up till now no feed back from the courts about the out come of the Challans have been received. Challans pertaining to the month of April are under process.
